Terms, Returns and Refunds
Effective date: 2026-04-19. These terms apply to product purchases and appointment bookings.
Refund & Returns Policy
At Clarke & Coleman Pharmacy, we aim to ensure that all products supplied are of the highest quality and that our customers are satisfied with their purchase. This policy explains when refunds, exchanges, or replacements are available.
1. Prescription Medicines
- Prescription-only medicines cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded once supplied, unless they are faulty or have been supplied incorrectly.
- This is due to legal, safety, and storage requirements.
- If you believe a prescription item is faulty or incorrect, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and resolve the issue.
2. Over-the-Counter Medicines
- Non-prescription medicines (e.g. pain relief, cough remedies, vitamins) cannot be returned if they have been opened or used, unless faulty.
3. Non-Medicinal Retail Products
- Examples include toiletries, cosmetics, health accessories, and gift items.
- If you change your mind, we may offer a refund or exchange on unused, unopened items returned within 14 days of purchase, with proof of purchase.
- Items must be in a resaleable condition.
4. Faulty Items
- If an item (including medicines or retail products) is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- Please return the item as soon as possible with proof of purchase.
5. Proof of Purchase
- A receipt or other valid proof of purchase is normally required for all refunds or exchanges.
6. Method of Refund
- Refunds will usually be made using the original payment method.
- Cash refunds may not be available unless the original payment was made in cash.
7. Exclusions
- The following items are non-refundable unless faulty:
- Prescription medicines
- Opened or used medicines
- Perishable goods
- Items marked as non-returnable at the point of sale
